Meet Our RLS Teachers
Donna Kern is the Lead Teacher for the Faith Foundations class. Ms. Donna has been teaching at
Resurrection Lutheran School since 2019 and has had 3 grandchildren attend Faith Foundations and the preschool program. Prior to teaching at RLS, Ms. Donna was a Home Health Aide for 23
years in New York and also an aide for children with autism both in school and at home for more than 10 years.
Melissa Headley is the Lead Teacher for both the Two Day and Three Day Program. She has been
teaching at Resurrection Lutheran School for 5 years. Ms. Melissa was the Faith Foundations Lead Teacher from 2015 to 2017 and has been the Lead Teacher in both the Two Day and Three Day Program since 2017. Prior to working at RLS, Ms. Melissa was the Head Office Manager for 12 years at a dental office and a substitute teacher in the Spotsylvania County School system.
Megan Snell is the Lead Teacher for the Five Day Program. She has a BA in Elementary Education and was previously a 3rd Grade Teacher for Prince William County Schools. Ms. Megan has worked at Resurrection Lutheran School since 2013 in various roles. She was an Assistant Teacher for the Two Day and Three Day programs from 2013 to 2015, the Director of RLS from 2016 to 2018, and the Faith Foundations teacher for the 2017-2018 school year.
Carol Martin is an Assistant Teacher at Resurrection Lutheran school. Ms. Carol has worked at
Resurrection Lutheran School since 2014 in various roles. She was the Director of RLS from 2014 to 2016 and has been as Assistant Teacher in the Two Day and Three Day Programs since 2017. Ms. Carol has also been the President of our RLS School Board, a substitute at RLS for many years, and a Sunday School Teacher at FUMC. Ms. Carol is also a substitute teacher for Spotsylvania County Schools.
Libby Rogers is an Assistant Teacher at Resurrection Lutheran School. Ms. Libby has worked at
Resurrection Lutheran School since 2018 as the Assistant Teacher for the Five Day Program. Prior to working at RLS, Ms. Libby volunteered regularly at her childrens’ elementary school assisting teachers and working with students one on one. She also has experience as a Sunday School Teacher.
